6/20/17 Grand Canyon

Today we explored the south rim of the Grand Canyon!

And then we stopped at the breathtaking horshoe bend bear page, AZ.

So when looking for camping we look on google maps for green as it's usually a national park or forest. North western AZ, where we were headed is all a Giant Indian reservation with no green. But luckily we zoomed in and found a teeny tiny little square of green, the Navajo National Monument, which hosted two free campgrounds. It was a pretty area out in the desert and actually had a cool mini Grand Canyon view on the way in.

First time we camped in the dessert.

Got to the free campground and hung out on top of the camper for a beautiful sunset.
