Hello Montana!

Not too much to report today. Spent the day driving through Montana and getting a working generator. 

Of note: avoid Missoula AT ALL COSTS. It was worse driving through there than a city. Took 20 min to get 4 miles. 

Didn't see the sign until after Kyle was lounging in the grass lol. Didn't see any rattlesnakes though. 

Drove around flathead lake. It's a really pretty lake, my picture is terrible of it. We did drive around a peninsula and saw several deer and our first black bear. 

Getting better at finding dispersed camping spots. Stayed in flathead national forest near swan lake. The key is to find an entry dirt road into the national forest and drive back for miles. The hard part is it's all overgrown brush and along the side of a mountain so there's limited pull over space. But we found one, didn't have a great creek or view but it was free and no one around.
