Had a rainy drive through the mossy forest this morning. It rained all night and I was once again grateful for the camper.
Spent the morning navigating traffic on the outskirts of Seattle. Traffic is crazy here! My friend said it is some of the worst in the nation, I believe her!
Got to visit my high school friend who I haven't seen in forever! Went for some good food and took the dogs to the bay. Was great catching up again and getting to meet each other's husbands.
Drove into Olympic National Forest to spend the night. Drove around for a bit to find dispersed camping but was unsuccessful. Ended up crashing at Dungeness Forks Campground which was a nice little secluded Campground. Old smokey served us well and got us down and back out of a very steep and narrow unpaved road to get to the campground. Turns out the site is not recommended for RVs or motor homes due to the drive. Good thing we aren't either :)
Had a little wild life come through our campsite. Welcome to Olympic, the land of the giant slugs.
